Description

In the Pearl Land, at the Emperor's Court, the mysterious beauty Tamamo-no-Mae appears. But the little princess Inori, the daughter of one of the princes, manages to find out her secret: the concubine is a kitsune, a fox spirit. The beauty has to hastily leave the Imperial Court.
Inori, according to ancient tradition, goes to the Phoenix Shrine. And she spends many years there as a Priestess. At the Shrine, she again meets the mysterious Tamamo-no-Mae, now known as Yue. Kitsune once left her Heavenly Clan, lived a long and unusually interesting life, served as a court lady, and was a concubine of several emperors.
The Priestess and her new assistant manage to visit the Parade of Demons, resist the invasion of evil spirits together and solve a mysterious murder.
Soon, a war begins between the two powerful clans Kawano and Tsuyuno. Tsuyuno are defeated. Young Makoto Tsuyuno is sent into exile. On the way, he visits the Shrine and meets Inori…
